#WEEKLY MEAL PLANNING FOR TWO MAC#
A good ol’ box mac and cheese, not the fanciest or healthiest but it’s our Friday treat this week!.Sometimes I add veggies to this if we have any on hand, but it’s good either way! Air fry or bake the chicken strips and slice up, add hummus and chicken to pita bread.Tyson seasoned chicken breast strips (from Costco), Greek pita bread (also from Costco), hummus, and veggies as desired. This is a repeat from the previous week, but it’s a good one and so so easy!.Planning out when we are going to have leftovers has definitely helped us have less food waste. When this happens I try to plan to eat leftovers mid-week so that they are fresher than if we wait till the weekend to eat them, or forget about them entirely. Since our first three meals of the week make pretty big portion sizes, we will have plenty of leftovers by this point. You can check out a video explanation of this recipe on my YouTube channel: When ready to cook, bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour until heated through. Mix up the sour cream and spinach, cover the bottom of a casserole pan with a thin layer of pasta sauce, layer ravioli, spinach mixture sauce, and cheese in two layers, cover with foil and freeze. This is another freezer meal that I like to prepare in advance but it can be made on the spot and cooked same day as well.1 package of frozen ravioli, 1 jar of pasta sauce (Alfredo or tomato sauce), frozen or fresh chopped spinach, sour cream, minced garlic, mozzarella cheese.Although it is not the cheapest option, we have been big fans of the instant sticky rice packages that they sell at Costco to just make a small side portion of rice to go with the meatballs. I made a video about this recipe on my channel here: (skip to 7:49 for the meatballs). Which usually takes about 20 minutes including the time it takes for the pot to come to pressure and all of that.
#WEEKLY MEAL PLANNING FOR TWO MANUAL#
I like to make this meal in advance, freeze it, and then just heat it quickly in the Instant Pot, on the manual setting for 7 minutes.

Pat dry the chicken breasts and cover with a thin layer of sour cream and breadcrumb mixture. First, crush up the cheese puffs, mix with sour cream, seasonings and panko breadcrumbs to get a thick consistency that is easy to spread. This time we are trying it with the sour cream and onion cheese puffs from Trader Joe’s.
